Not a very productive day today. Need to get out of house no matter what , but sometimes I just don't feel like going out . I am beginning to organize things here though. Tried to play through some Monk transcriptions on keyboard. Boy, I have no chops but what interesting voicings he does .I get frustrated with my self quickly. Maybe it isn't so quickly. I have realized that I was hiding from myself and life for a while. Need to schedule myself. I keep avoiding avoiding. well, maybe this will finally get me to commit. haha..Nervous and excited about Jurt's party tomorrow. Would be nice to start a new film project and have people hear my music at the party as well. Be nice to find a girlfriend, wife eventually .

I had lunch with Dad today. Went pretty well. So many exciting creative projects in works and cleaning up in my apartment lately. Of course it is still a mess to everyone else ! Seeing or trying to see Frith/Zorn tonight.
